Maria took this beautiful photo at the Sonoran Desert Museum in Tuscon. These are gorgeous plants that can grow quite high. I hope to not only plant one but paint one. The hummingbirds really like them. We've gotten a couple of hummers who like our feeder and want to keep all others away from it. They dive bomb each other all day, it is quite a show. I will post my hummingbird photo when I find it, it's on Maria's camera still.
If you know my work, one of my favorite subjects is the coleus plant. There are so many varieties of this annual. It comes in so many shapes, sizes and colors. It's an awesome addition to any patio garden. I don't know if I'll be able to grow it here in Arizona, but I'll try.
I'm going to have to search this computer a while to find some photos of paintings I've done. They were all on the website. This is one that I did for my dear friend Janice earlier this year.
This is my new site to replace my old website which was just too expensive to maintain and basically a pain to keep up with. I hope to post regularly - once or twice a week, or more?, so check back regularly. Blessings to All
