I am working on a series of Sunflower paintings. The first one is just a quick, fun almost abstract version.
This second one, not completed yet, is more representational, promises to be my favorite.
This third one, is part of our class project where we are focusing on the negative space of the painting.

Print making

My middle school class has been creating different giraffe artwork for the past month. This week we made prints from 'stamps' that they made of cut foam pieces on cardboard and acrylic paint. All of the students wanted to do secondary prints -color on color. I think the results were great and they all enjoyed the process.
