Better late than never. Right?

These are projects my students completed last semester. My Painting and Poetry class completed a HAITI mural (purchased from Kathy Barbro's Art Projects for Kids). Our church has a ministry to Haiti so we use the poster every time we have an information night or bake sale for the Haiti mission.
The high school watercolor students did a barn study. In this study the barns were gridded onto watercolor paper first then completed.
Their final watercolor project was of a subject of their choosing.

Print making

My middle school class has been creating different giraffe artwork for the past month. This week we made prints from 'stamps' that they made of cut foam pieces on cardboard and acrylic paint. All of the students wanted to do secondary prints -color on color. I think the results were great and they all enjoyed the process.
