Just about done with this watercolor for my friend Anne.

This is the piece that was accepted for the latest show. It's two pieces, acrylic on wrapped canvas and I named it Ode to Tiger . I named it that for fun, sometimes the name alone will get you into a show. This may be the case.

I took a dry pastel class at Shemer Art Center and Museum in Scottsdale this Spring. These are the two "paintings" I did. It's more like coloring than painting, but those who are good at it make it look like painting.

Art of the Masters class (Abi is standing in for Jay, Aleah, Hannah, Josh, Nina, Marshall, Marlayna) My classes are done for this semester.We finished up our Van Gogh Starry Nights and had a great time doing so. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching these kids. What a blessing. Thanks for taking photos Faithann!

For my last lessons for my Enrichment Program students, we will be doing an Ode to Van Gogh. He is one of my favorite artists. I couldn't believe it when I saw one of his originals at the DIA - I believe it was Irises (or maybe Sunflowers - I was blown away!) I kept asking my sister Mary if it was a copy because it 'couldn't be THE original'. We are doing a replica of Starry Night, of course.

Finally got the framing right and shipped the horse painting to my cousin Joe in Michigan. I hope to visit it in its new home some day.
